We start with a discovery call and a walk through the space. We consult on your functional requirements, vision, budget + timeframe. Then we craft a plan and execute it, including making recommendations on fabric choices + finishes while we create your new space. This service is ideal for clients who have a vision and want to create a special space. 

This is a true collaboration; we make certain we understand your vision + how each space in your home needs to function to support your lifestyle. The design concept + development progresses based on this discovery and then you will be presented the whole plan to bring your vision to life. 

Once all is in motion, tektur will oversee and manage the deliveries, installations, logistics + more. We take care of all the details, so you don’t have to! This service is ideal for a client who has recently purchased a new home or is looking for a full refresh.  

Tektur specialises in helping clients at the onset of a new home build or renovation. We work together prior to the construction phase, to review + develop the floor plan, in collaboration with your architect. After developing your unique signature + concept for the project, we then provide selections and design of all items of the home including kitchen and bath fixtures, cabinetry and appliances, stone, tile and flooring, hardware, lighting etc, ensuring every element is completely integrated with the build, saving you time + money. 

Tektur can provide on-site project management, working with your architect, builder, sub-contractors, lighting designers, kitchen designers and other trades ensuring your vision + voice are represented throughout the construction. 

Once the building phase is complete tektur can head up the interior design and decoration. Using our design + concept plan we will lead the selection + installation of all interior finishes, furniture, fabrics, window + wall treatments, decorative lighting, floor coverings, linens + more, ensuring that when you turn the key on your new or renovated home it feels just as you envisioned, it feels like you.

Once your final choice is made + pieces are ordered, we can oversee and manage deliveries, installations, logistics and more, taking care of all the details so you don’t have to!

We also provide guidance on the WELL Building Standard, which focuses on elements of the built environment that affect human health and well-being. For example, we advise on the selection of finishes and furniture with low VOCs to promote a healthier interior environment. 

We're also huge advocates for reuse, repurpose + reconstruction. With our technical knowledge, creativity + crafty ideas we consider any opportunity to reduce waste entering landfill a responsibility all designers should take on board.

Focusing on the interior of a building, the aesthetics + its functionality for human occupancy, interior design is a blend of art + science, the creative + technical. It is a specialised field, as is architecture.

We collaborate a lot with architects which allows each discipline to focus on their area of expertise, this approach ensures a wholistic + successful design outcome for our clients.

For new builds we are often engaged early in the design process, collaborating with the architect + client on an integrated fitout. If the project is a renovation of an existing home, involving us as early as is feasible is always beneficial + we can then ensure the layout, function + aesthetics of the space is being thoughtfully executed + in line with the brief.
